On 4 December 2019, the Australian Commissioner of Taxatio withdrew the draft ruling (MT 2018/D1) setting out his preliminary view on the time limits applying to taxpayer entitlements to claim fuel tax credits or Goods and Services Tax (GST) input tax credits.
