It aims to create a uniform method for business-to-government (B2G) transactions across member countries.
- Global Adoption and Models: Peppol has been implemented in 37 countries, including Australia, Japan, and Singapore. It operates on a 4-corner model that enhances security and connectivity in transactions, with a 5-corner model in some regions allowing tax authorities to access invoices in real-time for compliance purposes.
