Continuation of the Phased Rollout

The Dominican Republic has implemented electronic fiscal documents through successive taxpayer waves rather than a single universal start date. The November 2026 milestone therefore affects taxpayers falling within the specified categories and does not represent the original launch of e-CF.

Implementation requires more than creating an electronic representation of an invoice. Taxpayers must address document authorization, digital signatures, transmission, acceptance, contingency documents and electronic customer communications.

Final Readiness Checks

Affected taxpayers should verify DGII registration, document numbering, signature certificates, XML validation and the reconciliation of accepted e-CF documents to VAT returns and general-ledger postings.
