- The law still requires approval from the Bundesrat, with the next meeting scheduled for March 22, 2024.
- The Draft Law proposes the introduction of mandatory e-invoicing between 2025 and 2028, with a phased rollout and structured e-invoices becoming the default format. Paper and other electronic invoices will still be allowed for a limited period.
