The “Bundesrat” will meet on March 22, 2024, to presumably approve the mandatory B2B electronic invoicing, postponing the start of the invoicing requirement until January 2027 for companies with over €800,000 in revenue and 2028 for companies with less than €800,000 in revenue.
However, all companies must be able to receive electronic invoices starting from January 2025.
