- VAT rates for certain products and services are changing in Romania. Alcohol-free beer and foods with added sugar (over 10g/100g) will now have a VAT rate of 19%, except for Romanian specialty cozonac and biscuits.
- The delivery of housing as part of social policy, installation of energy-efficient systems, access to certain entertainment venues, and access to sports events will have a VAT rate of 9%.
- The right to use certain sports facilities, transportation by certain vehicles for tourist or leisure purposes, and animal-drawn vehicles for tourist or leisure purposes will have a VAT rate of 19%.
