The Border BBO law came into effect on August 1, 2023, and it involves starting to collect BBO, Health Surcharge (BAVP), and Health Insurance (BAZV) when importing products to Aruba. It is important for the general community, especially traders, to be aware of the law changes and the new processes they bring. Therefore, the Tax Department has organized two extra information sessions on August 17 and 18.
The schedule is as follows:
August 17, 2023 2:00-4:00 pm
August 18, 2023 10:00 am -12:00 pm
Due to limited capacity, a maximum of 2 persons per reservation will be accepted. The invitation is valid for all traders. At the end of the session, there will be an opportunity to ask questions related to the collection of Border BBO.
