We inform you that Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/903 on the introduction of preventive measures in relation to certain products originating in Ukraine was published in the Official Journal of the EU L 114 on 2 May 2023. In accordance with the first article of the regulation, except for the implementation of contracts that were signed before the entry into force of this regulation, the release into free circulation or placing under the customs warehousing procedure, the free zone procedure or the active processing procedure of products from the Annex to this regulation originating from of Ukraine is only allowed in member states other than Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania or Slovakia.

The above means that the restriction on the release of the goods in question does not apply in Slovenia, but it is necessary to enter the code Y844 – Goods not released for free circulation in Bulgaria, Hungary in data element 2/3 of the customs declaration when these goods are released for free circulation in Slovenia , Poland, Romania or Slovakia – Special provisions.
The regulation entered into force on the day of publication, i.e. 2/5/2023 and is used until 5/6/2023.
