The implementation of GST not only replaces the IGT but allows for the removal of the tax on specific items. Government is committed to improving the dietary and physical health of all and to this end has removed the Goods and Services Tax on key fruit imports. This is one measure to ensure we are “Growing Sustainably Together”.
