The Council of Ministers began the procedures for the approval of the Draft Bill amending the General Tax Law with the aim of making the transposition of EU Directive 2021/514 (known as DAC 7) effective.
Member States must transpose this directive and apply it from January 1, 2023 , with the aim of allowing greater administrative cooperation and an effective exchange of tax information on digital platform operators.
