On 7 March 2022, the European Commission departments each released annual management plans, which are based on the Commission work programme. These plans define the departments’ main actions for the year ahead, and how these will contribute to meeting the overall objectives of the Commission. The Management plan 2022 produced by the Directorate General Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD) is in line with previous communications from the Commission in relation to tax.
