Tax advisors note that recently companies have to wait longer and longer for a VAT refund. The tax office initiates long checks and delays the issuance of the decision. Record holders wait up to 1000 days. The procedure may be accelerated by an application for the transfer of funds to the VAT account. However, this does not solve the problem, because companies cannot use this money freely.
