The new regulations set forth the procedures for applying for authorized economic operator (AEO) status. AEO status has many benefits, including reduced inspections and reviews of import documentation.
In August 16, 2019, the Ecuadorian Customs Authority issued new regulations on the procedure for applying to become an AEO.
