- IRAS confirmed the phased GST InvoiceNow mandate, requiring all GST-registered businesses to transmit invoice data via the InvoiceNow (Peppol-based) network. Phases run from April 2028 (compulsory registrations, businesses ≤ S$200k) through to April 2031 (businesses > S$4M). [iras.gov.sg]
- IMDA released grants and support packages to encourage early adoption and reduce onboarding costs. Businesses are strongly encouraged to onboard early using InvoiceNow-Ready Solutions via accredited Access Points. Overseas entities and reverse-charge-only businesses are exempt. [iras.gov.sg]
- Operational action: Factor available grants into adoption timing. Confirm an InvoiceNow-Ready Solution and accredited Access Point; use the IRAS Excel calculator to check your phased implementation date. IRAS will notify pre-2026 GST-registered businesses of their mandatory date by mid-2026. [iras.gov.sg]
