Financial Administration Launches Interactive Guide for E-Invoicing

  • The Financial Administration launched an interactive online guide to help businesses and other entities determine if e-invoicing applies to them and how to prepare.
  • Detailed instructions, practical guides, FAQs, and webinar recordings are available on specialized websites and the Financial Administration portal.
  • Ongoing support includes webinars, methodological guidelines, cooperation with professional associations, and a call center.
  • E-invoicing becomes mandatory for most businesses from January 2027, with voluntary participation possible from May 2026.
  • The initiative is part of the EU’s ViDA package, aiming to modernize VAT systems and bring benefits like faster processing, fewer errors, lower costs, better control, and increased data security.
