Innovate Tax: April 2026 tax headlines: global VAT news

  • VAT Rate Changes: Several countries are implementing VAT rate adjustments, including Sweden reducing VAT on food and drinks, Vietnam extending a 0% VAT rate on fuels, the Bahamas applying 0% VAT to essential foods, and Liberia increasing its standard Goods and Services Tax rate.
