- From 1 January 2026, road and rail carriers moving goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland or the EU must use Import Control System 2 (ICS2) for safety and security entry summary declarations.
- ICS2 will replace ICSNI for Northern Ireland and ICS1 for the EU.
- Carriers using the Trader Support Service (TSS) can continue using it and do not need to register for ICS2.
