The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) of the UAE has issued a decision on “The Refund of Fees of Private Clarification Requests.”
As per said decision, the Authority may refund the fee paid for the service of a Private Clarification request relating to one tax or the fee paid for the service of a Private Clarification request relating to more than one tax, where the Authority decided not to issue the Private Clarification provided cases as specified in the decision are applicable. Further, it is pertinent to note that said decision is effective from 01 August 2024.
