Starting in August 2024, Malaysia will implement a CTC clearance model for large taxpayers engaged in commercial activities. The pilot phase, originally set for January 2024, has been postponed, and the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) has now scheduled it to begin in May with 50 participating companies. Participation in the pilot program is voluntary for any company interested.
