The Israeli government is drawing-up its 2023/24 budget which will include a proposal to extend Israeli VAT collections obligations to foreign providers and digital platforms for digital or electronic services. The draft may include proposals ‘to enable efficient collection of the tax applicable tax on the purchase of digital services from international suppliers whose seat is not in Israel’.
