The interconnection of cash registers with POS and AADE is an important reform that is part of the Greece National Recovery Plan, as it introduces businesses and tax audits in a digital environment, with the central concern of enhancing the transparency of transactions and the fight against tax evasion. According to the schedule, the project will be completed by the end of June 2024 and also provides for the development of infrastructure and applications for the monitoring of cash register transactions and the support of the control mechanism.
