The Curacao government has published a recent notice from the Ministry of Finance announcing that with effect from 1 October 2021, only electronic payment will be accepted for the payment of taxes. For in-person payment, taxpayers may no longer pay with cash or checks, although “swipe” payments are accepted (e.g., credit/debit cards). Otherwise, taxpayers may use online banking or the Pagomátiko payment service to make payments.
