The expected VAT rate increase in Luxembourg has been confirmed. As from 1 January 2015 the rates will increase by two percentage points. The standard VAT rate will raise to 17% and the “reduced” VAT rates would be increased to 14% (from 12) and 8% (from 6%). The “super-reduced” VAT rate of 3% will remain in place, except the scope will be limited.
