For associations that are engaged in mind sports such as bridge, chess, checkers and go, the VAT exemption has been definitively canceled. The VAT exemption for sports was already not applicable, now State Secretary Vijlbrief (Finance) decides that there is also no cultural heritage and that the corresponding exemption does not apply.
