Greece has revised the timetable for the second wave of mandatory electronic invoicing. Businesses with declared gross revenue up to EUR 1 million, based on the tax year beginning in 2023, enter mandatory implementation on 2 November 2026. A transitional period operates from that date through 31 January 2027.
During the transition, affected businesses may continue using their existing commercial, accounting or ERP systems alongside the approved channels. From 1 February 2027, covered domestic B2B transactions, transactions with businesses outside the EU and B2G transactions must be issued and transmitted to myDATA exclusively through a certified e-invoicing provider or AADE’s free timologio or myDATAapp applications.
