Some 400,000 taxpayers will receive a message from the Tax Administration about e-invoices in May
- The Tax Administration will send e-invoice proposals to approximately 400,000 taxpayers with Nordea or OP bank accounts in May 2026, recommending they switch to e-invoices for various tax payments.
- E-invoices simplify tax payments by pre-filling details and providing due date reminders, helping taxpayers avoid late-payment interest which can be as high as 9.5%.
- Taxpayers can safely accept these proposals through their e-banks, or proactively request e-invoicing at any time; reminders will be sent to those who don’t accept initially, accessible via MyTax.
