- Zambia has temporarily zero-rated VAT on supplies of petrol and diesel from 1 April 2026 to 30 June 2026,
- The zero-rating was approved by the Cabinet during a special meeting on 31 March 2026 and implemented by the Value Added Tax (Zero-Rating) (Amendment) Order 2026.
- In addition to zero-rating, excise duty on petrol and diesel is suspended during the same period.
