- For the 2025 tax year, Fintua requires all UAE refund documentation by July 10, 2026, with the ultimate UAE tax authority deadline being August 31, 2026.
- Fintua will only process claims for invoices above EUR 500 in VAT and will submit claims to UAE Tax Authorities only if the total VAT claimed exceeds EUR 10,000, due to the complexity and low approval rate of the process.
- Required documents include scanned invoices, proof of payment, an original Certificate of VAT Status attested by the UAE Embassy, Certificate of Incorporation, Trade Register copy, Authorized Signatory’s passport copy and email, bank certificate, and a Fintua Letter of Authorization.
