- The UK has ruled that some public EV charging can qualify for a reduced 5% VAT rate, while Argentina is cutting VAT on electricity for agro-industrial irrigation to 10.5%.
- E-invoicing mandates are progressing globally: Spain approved a phased B2B e-invoicing rollout from July 2027, Norway is moving towards mandatory e-invoicing from January 2027, and Singapore extended its InvoiceNow GST implementation timeline.
