- Sweden is restructuring its government, leading to the planned discontinuation of Digg (Agency for Digital Government) as a standalone entity.
- As part of this change, Digg’s responsibilities related to Peppol (a network for e-invoicing) are expected to be transferred to Upphandlingsmyndigheten (National Agency for Public Procurement).
- This transfer, which includes e-commerce functions, is scheduled to become effective on July 1, 2026.
