PEPPOL is a standard for exchanging electronic documents like invoices, ensuring they are easy to send and receive. Being PEPPOL compliant means documents can be easily processed by public and private authorities in the EU. To ensure compliance, a PEPPOL Access Point is used as a gateway to the PEPPOL network, with over 500 certified Access Points worldwide. PEPPOL Authorities appointed by OpenPEPPOL ensure national rules are followed and maintain the network’s integrity. OpenPEPPOL is a non-profit organization that develops and promotes the PEPPOL standard.
