- The purpose of the consultation is to gather feedback and understand the guidance needed to assist taxpayers in completing the supplementary annual GST return.
- The introduction of this return aims to enhance the ATO’s treatment strategies, monitor GST risks, and make informed decisions about future engagements with taxpayers in the large market segment. The consultation period runs until August 2024.
