- FDmagazine recently organized a webinar on e-invoicing with Dynatos and PwC. Participants expressed concerns about the interoperability of Peppol with other countries’ systems.
- The Belgian government has mandated electronic invoicing between companies from January 1, 2026, using the UBL or EN16391 standard format and the Peppol channel.
- Dynatos’ product manager, Nele Janssens, mentioned that Peppol is widely accepted in Belgium and many other countries. Some countries, like Italy and Denmark, have chosen different channels, but Dynatos’ platform can already send electronic invoices to these countries.
- Dynatos’ Routty is a cloud platform serving as an access point for Peppol and middleware between accounting systems, ERPs, and other business packages. It can connect to applications via APIs or SFTP and translate into different document formats.
- The webinar also discussed the European Commission’s ‘VAT in the Digital Age’ (Vida) project, aiming to standardize VAT reporting electronically for the entire Union.
