Switzerland will introduce annual VAT reporting starting in January 2025, providing greater flexibility for businesses, especially SMEs. Companies will have the option to file VAT returns annually, reducing administrative burden. To qualify for annual reporting, companies must have an annual taxable turnover below CHF 5,005,000 and a clean compliance record for the last three tax periods.
