The Northern Netherlands District Court ruled that the reduced VAT rate does not apply to the rental of cabin sailing yachts. The court found that the facilities provided by the marina, including moorings and sanitary facilities, do not qualify as sports accommodations and are not necessary for the practice of sailing sports. Therefore, the reduced rate does not apply.
