Changes to Tax and Invoicing Regulations in Romania from 2024

  • Non-resident taxable persons in Romania must upload invoices to the RO e-factura platform within 5 days of issue
  • Companies subject to VAT in Romania must issue and transmit invoices exclusively via the RO e-factura platform from 1 July 2024
