Electronic invoicing, commonly known as eInvoicing, has become a pivotal component in modernizing business transactions. The European Commission, at the forefront of digital innovation, provides valuable insights on eInvoicing through its Digital Building Blocks website.
Perhaps most interesting part of the website are the eInvoicing Country Factsheets for each Member State & other countries. But … they are not up-to-date …. For instance the implementation dates mentioned for France are still mentioning
- Starting on 1 July 2024 for large companies,
- on 1 January 2025 for intermediate-size companies,
- on 1 January 2026 for all companies.
As we all know by now, this is not correct ….
