The procedure for taxing Ruble CBDC transactions will be similar to the procedure for taxing transactions with a standard bank account. However, there are some differences as regards establishing and maintaining a Digital Ruble account. There are also incentives to begin usage to speed up its integration into general usage, such as transfers and remittances of funds using the Digital Ruble being exempt from VAT.
