SAT announced changes in the assignment of Tax Identification Numbers (NIT) as of October 4, 2023. The “new NIT” for Guatemalan individuals and domiciled foreigners will consist of the first 9 digits of the CUI. Current NITs will not change, but are expected to include the full 13 digits of the CUI by 2025.
