The Saudi Arabian Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced the ninth wave of Phase 2 of e-invoicing. This wave includes taxpayers with a revenue of at least SAR 30 million subject to VAT for 2021 or 2022. These taxpayers are expected to integrate with ZATCA’s platform, FATOORA, starting from June 1, 2024. Phase 2 of e-invoicing introduces additional requirements for e-invoices, and affected taxpayers will receive a minimum six-month notice prior to enforcement.
