From February 2022, under the Anti-Inflation Shield, basic food products are exempt from VAT, the rate of which is normally 5%. Will we pay more for bread or cold cuts from January? Deputy Minister of Finance Artur Soboń (46) does not rule out that zero VAT will be maintained. A decision will be taken before the end of the year.
