- The Egyptian Tax Authority has released VAT Guidelines for non-resident vendors who provide digital and remote services to customers in Egypt.
- The guidelines cover VAT obligations for B2B and B2C supplies, simplified registration for non-resident vendors, invoicing requirements, record-keeping, tax refunds, and exempted services.
- Non-resident vendors must comply with the guidelines to avoid penalties or legal issues. The guidelines become effective on 22 June 2023.
