On 25/7/23, AFIP General Resolution 5393/2023 (“RG 5393”) was published in the Official Gazette, regulating the application of the Tax for an Inclusive and Solidarity Argentina (PAIS Tax) that Decree 377/2023 had extended to new purchase operations of foreign currency the day before. It should be noted that this General Resolution is effective as of its publication date.
