- The Finnish government has set goals to prioritize the digitalization of tax collection in order to create a better tax environment.
- The government aims to improve household purchasing power, incentives for work, economic growth, and domestic ownership while keeping the corporation tax rate competitive.
- Additionally, a reform of property taxation will be carried out. The government plans to digitalize tax collection to ensure a smoother flow and more predictable taxation.
- These goals were announced as part of the government program “A Strong and Committed Finland” on June 16, 2023.
