Turkey has hiked the VAT tax on goods and services, the country’s Official Gazette said on Friday. The 18% VAT rate on goods and services will be raised to 20%, while the 8% VAT rate applied to certain goods and services will be increased to 10%. The decision will come into effect on July 10, 2023.
