US Sales Tax Rate Updates for July 2023

State, county, municipal, and district taxes will change effective July 1, 2023. The Fonoa tax engine will automatically reflect the rate changes. Specific changes include the implementation of new city-level sales taxes in Shungnak and White Mountain, Alaska, and Mendota, California. Grand Junction, Colorado will increase its sales tax rate, while Ware County, Georgia will increase its sales tax rate and Taylor County, Georgia will decrease its sales tax rate. Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia will also see changes to their tax rates.
