The 2023 South Australia budget—delivered 15 June 2023—includes a proposal to abolish stamp duty for first home buyers who purchase a new home valued up to $650,000, or vacant land valued up to $400,000 to build a new home. The measure is proposed to become effective 15 June 2023.
