The recent judgment of the CJEU reminded taxpayers of the problem of the so-called empty invoices, additionally paying attention to one of the aspects of this issue, concerning apparent transactions in the light of civil law. In this context, it is worth asking whether empty invoices are still in the area of interest of the tax authorities and how the tax office deals with this problem.
