On 10 May 2023, the Philippines Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 52-2023, which clarifies that VAT-registered persons have the option to continue to file and pay VAT monthly using BIR Form No. 2550M.
