Pursuant to the SLIM VAT 3 Act, adopted last week by the Senate, the additional VAT liability will no longer be “rigidly” 30%, 20% and 15 percent the tax deduction amount. The tax authority will be able to reduce the amount of the sanction, adjusting its amount to the scale of the taxpayer’s misconduct.
